Fightly Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is processed when you use the Fightly mobile application on iOS or Android, why it is processed, and what controls are available to you.

Last updated:

01 Operator and contact

The Fightly application (“Fightly”, the “App”) is operated by its publisher. For privacy questions, data requests, or to exercise your rights, contact sbentkowski39@gmail.com.

02 Scope of this policy

This policy applies to Fightly on iOS and Android and to this static privacy-policy website. Fightly includes Track, Progress, Missions, Fight IQ, Sparring Match, My Game, and Daily Games features, with Free and Pro versions.

This policy website has no first-party analytics, advertising, forms, or cookies. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical connection data and logs under its privacy statement.

03 Data that may be processed

Account and sign-in data

When you register or sign in, the following may be processed: your Firebase user identifier (UID), email address, display name, sign-in method, authentication information, and technical security information processed by Firebase Authentication, such as your IP address and device or user-agent information. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; Fightly does not store the readable value of your password in its app database.

If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides the information required to authenticate you, which may include an account identifier, email address, display name, and sign-in token, depending on your Google Account settings.

Profile and settings

The App may store your selected sports, language, display name, fighter nickname, main sport, weight, gym, experience level, stance, featured achievements, and profile update timestamps.

Track, Progress, Missions, and Fight IQ

Training data may include the sport, date, duration, number of rounds, training type, strengths, weaknesses, notes, and creation or update timestamps. Mission results may include the mission identifier and category, sport, status, target and achieved values, linked training, and dates. Fight IQ results may include the scenario, sport, category, answers, score, and completion date.

My Game statistics, ratings, archetypes, achievements, and Career Timeline are calculated locally from this data. Fightly does not use AI for these calculations.

Sparring Match

Your sparring profile may include your display name, sports, country, city, region, weight, experience level, preferred intensity, short bio, gym, and contact handle.

Listings may include the owner's display name, sport, city and region, weight range, experience, intensity, date, public location description, description, and status. This information is visible to signed-in users. Private details such as a more specific venue, organizer note, and contact information are disclosed only to authorized participants after a request is accepted, subject to the App's access rules.

Sparring requests may contain sender and recipient identifiers, display names, a message, status, and dates. Safety features store blocked-user identifiers and timestamps and, for reports, listing, owner, and reporter identifiers, the selected reason, and the report date.

Daily Games and on-device data

Daily Games history is stored locally and may include the game type, challenge identifier, date, score, attempt count, streak, completion, and solved status. Your chosen language and technical Pro-entitlement state needed by the interface may also be stored locally.

My Game photo

If you select a photo from your library or take one with the camera, the file is saved only in the App's private on-device storage. It is not uploaded to Firebase Storage or another Fightly cloud service. You can replace or remove it. It may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or change devices.

Technical and advertising data

In the Free version, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may process technical data required to serve, frequency-cap, secure, and measure ads. This can include your IP address, device and app information, advertising or other identifiers, approximate location inferred from your IP address, and ad impressions or interactions. The exact data depends on your device, region, privacy settings, and choices. Pro users are not shown ads in the App.

04 Why data is processed

Data is used as necessary to:

  • create, secure, and operate your account;
  • save training sessions and display history, progress, and statistics;
  • provide Missions, Fight IQ, My Game, and Daily Games;
  • publish and manage Sparring Match listings and requests;
  • support blocking and reporting features for community safety;
  • check subscription status and provide Pro features;
  • serve and measure ads in the Free version;
  • prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the App;
  • fulfil user requests, including account deletion.

Fightly does not sell personal data. Fightly does not use the data for automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

05 Where data is stored and who receives it

Account and synchronized feature data is stored in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore in Fightly's Firebase project. Access is restricted through authentication and Firestore security rules. Some Sparring Match listing data is intentionally shared with other signed-in users, while private details are available only to authorized participants.

Fightly uses the following service providers:

  • Google Firebase for authentication and Cloud Firestore;
  • Google Sign-In for optional Google Account authentication;
  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for ads shown to Free users;
  • RevenueCat to check products, purchases, subscriptions, and Pro entitlements;
  • Apple App Store or Google Play to distribute the App and process purchases on the relevant platform;
  • GitHub Pages to host this public policy website.

Providers may process data on servers in different countries under their own terms, safeguards, and transfer arrangements.

06 Advertising and subscriptions

AdMob

Ads are provided through Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Even non-personalized ads may use identifiers or technical information for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention. You can manage ad choices through your device settings, Google Account settings, and any consent message made available to you.

RevenueCat and app stores

RevenueCat receives the App user identifier (UID) and technical or transaction information needed to determine available offerings, purchase and subscription status, and Pro entitlement. Apple or Google processes your payment and billing information. Fightly does not receive your full payment-card details.

07 Retention and deletion

Data is retained while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide your chosen features. You can delete individual content where the App provides that option, or delete your account and owned data directly in the App.

Account deletion covers profile, training, Mission and Fight IQ data, your own Sparring Match listings and private details, sent or received requests, your reports, blocks, the Firebase Authentication account, and the local photo, Daily Games history, and local subscription state. Data in provider backups may be removed later under the provider's retention practices.

Limited information may be retained for longer where necessary for safety, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or a legal obligation. This may include safety reports submitted by other users. Contact us to request deletion of any remaining data.

Local data remains until you remove it through the App, clear app data, or uninstall. Uninstalling does not automatically delete cloud account data.

08 Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. The exact rights available depend on applicable law.

You can update profile data and content in the App and delete your account from the App's settings. For other requests, email sbentkowski39@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity to protect your account.

09 Security

Fightly uses measures appropriate to the App, including Firebase authentication, encrypted connections provided by platform services, Firestore access rules, and separation of public and private Sparring Match data. Your My Game photo remains in the App's private on-device storage. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10 Children and minors

Fightly is not directed to children. A person who has not reached the age required in their country to use this type of service independently should use the App only with parental or guardian permission and supervision where required by law. If you believe a child submitted data without the required permission, contact us so that it can be removed.

11 Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Fightly's features, providers, or privacy requirements change. The current version will be posted at the same URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App.
